The AIDA Conference invites proposals for Special Sessions to highlight emerging topics, industry trends, and innovative research areas that may not be fully covered in the main conference tracks. Special Sessions provide a unique platform for focused discussions led by experts in the field.
Why Organize a Special Session?

Special Session Format
- Each Special Session must have 4 speakers, presenting on a coherent topic.
- Each speaker can submit an individual paper (up to 6 pages) for publication in the conference proceedings.
- Alternatively, all speakers can co-author a single paper (up to 10 pages) instead of separate papers.
Special Session Proposal Submission
Organizers should submit a proposal including:
📌 Session Title and Abstract (max 500 words)
📌 List of Speakers (names, affiliations, and tentative talk titles)
📌 Session Objectives & Relevance to the AIDA Conference
📌 Proposed Structure (e.g., presentations, panel discussions, interactive Q&A)
📌 Target Audience & Expected Participation
Selection Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
✔ Relevance to AIDA’s themes and future trends in AI and engineering
✔ Technical depth and originality of the proposed topic
✔ Quality and expertise of the speakers
✔ Clarity of the session structure and engagement plan
Responsibilities of Special Session Organizers
- Ensure that the session is well-structured and engaging.
- Coordinate with invited speakers to prepare high-quality talks and papers.
- Oversee the paper submission process and adhere to IEEE formatting guidelines.
- Moderate discussions and encourage audience interaction.
